How Does Your Work Enable You to Connect to and Fulfill Your Life Purpose/Passion?

I am a Certified Functional health coach, and a certified Happiness Coach, I help others feel better, prevent and reverse illness, through nutrition, better sleep, less stress, mindset and understanding and weeding out the toxins. It fulfills my life purpose because I know that it is unnecessary that there are so many diseases such as diabetes and Alzheimer’s on the rise. If people just knew how to stay healthy and protect themselves we could reverse this.

Who Is Your Ideal Client and Why?

My ideal clients are women between the ages of 35-60 who want to lose weight, have more energy, better sleep, or just want to understand how to live a long, healthy life, as well as those experiencing perimenopause symptoms. And children who are unfocused and restless, who’s moms are worried about ADD, helping them with their diet to see if that may be the cause.

Who Was Your Role Model Growing Up? How Did That Person’s Actions Impact You?

My parents, I guess. They impacted me, because one of the reasons for my passions about keeping people healthy is that my mom died of Parkinson’s and Dementia, and I know now that these have been reversed in others, and that they can be if following the right protocol.

Top 3 Ways to Treat Yourself to Self-Care?

1. Getting enough sleep
2. Making sure you get the right nutrition in the form of fruits, vegetables, and vitamins
3. Meditating, and breathing as to keep the stress level down

The Wahl’s Protocol. Because Dr. Terry Wahls did reverse MS on herself through nutrition.

Favorite Movie and Why?

Good Will Hunting. It is just an awesome movie, and Matt Damon is in it, so that is a plus.

“Go to” Quote or Mantra that Grounds You?

The only quote I can think of off the top of my head, which I suppose is a bit appropriate is the commercial from a bunch of years ago, with David Ortiz where he says, “If life gives you lemons…..smash them with a bat, and Make Lemonade”.

Accomplishment Are You Most Proud of?

I have raised 2 Healthy, Happy kids, 20 and 23, who are both living their passions successfully!

Best Lesson Learned in Life So Far?

My mother knew what she was talking about almost every time.

Advice to Younger Self?

Study harder. Save more, Plan better, Eat better, don’t take a job, just because it is a job. Your work should be something you love.

What Do You Love Best About Yourself (physical trait or personality characteristic) and Why?

That I am loyal, dedicated, and if you need something done, I will get it done. And my optimism and positivity, because, I feel that many people have no sense of urgency for others. You have to follow through, and follow up and if not many things fall through the cracks, which in most cases is not a good thing especially when considering health. And as far as positivity,…it helps me a lot, it gets you through a situation, it helps support others, and it prevents stressing for unnecessary reasons, and 70% of disease is caused by stress.

Any Advice for Women Considering Joining the SheBreathes Collaborative?

Do it, it is a great community of supportive women. You will form relationships, and discover things, and modalities that you never knew existed.
