How Does Your Work Enable You to Connect to and Fulfill Your Life Purpose/Passion?

My greatest passions are connecting with good people and storytelling . I believe my purpose on earth is to connect with good people, allow them to feel heard and provide a platform for them to own and share their stories.

Who Is Your Ideal Client and Why?

My ideal client comes in many packages but always has a kind heart and is open to becoming the best version of themselves.

What Unique Offerings Do You Provide?

The Soul Project is an ongoing documentary and community of badass, kind hearted humans. We provide a safe platform for women to own and share their unique stories and to find power in their vulnerability. We heal together, lift one another up and come together to do service in our community as a supportive loving tribe.

Who Was Your Role Model Growing Up? How Did That Person’s Actions Impact You?

I have always looked up to my mother and wanted to make her happy and proud. She is the most giving person I know – she has inspired me to value generosity and kind gestures. I’ve also learned by watching her give selflessly for years that I must start now to practice self care and remember to fill my own cup up first.

Let’s Change Talk.

How Does Your Work Enable You to Connect to and Fulfill Your Life Purpose/Passion?

My life feels most valuable when I’m providing others with hope and helping them discover their purpose.

Who Is Your Ideal Client and Why?

My ideal client is someone who wants more out of their life, someone who realizes they have unused potential and they’re willing to work hard to uncover and cultivate it. This is because I would’ve described myself as this person 10 years ago and I remember looking around for someone to guide me. I want to be the person I needed as a young adult.

What Unique Offerings Do You Provide?

I provide coaching heavily based on Motivational Interviewing. I learned this incredible way to communicate that creates a safe space for clients to open up, without judgement. My listening skills are sharp and I take pride in my ability to pick up on my client’s nonverbal cues and gestures which really allows us to connect. Having a long-time background in Physical Therapy, I’m also confident in my ability to create safe and effective exercise programs for my clients.

Who Was Your Role Model Growing Up? How Did That Person’s Actions Impact You?

My role model growing up (and to this day) is my big brother Dan. He is the most hard-working, generous, philanthropic man I’ve ever known. He taught me at a young age how to be independent and not to be afraid of hard work. He continues to teach me dedication and resilience. One of the most commendable things I think of about Dan is his college experience. Dan joined the Marine Corps on his 18th birthday and began taking college classes while serving our country. His schooling would often be put on hold when he’d get sent on deployment after deployment after deployment. It took him 10 years to get his Bachelor’s Degree, for that reason. But he persevered and it was such a proud moment to see him walk across the stage with his diploma. Whenever I’m having a hard day I know I can count of him for a motivational speech, or a kick in the ass!

Favorite Place to Escape and Refuel?

The beach! It provides me with serenity and perspective.

Top 3 Ways to Treat Yourself to Self-Care?

Weightlifting. Reading. Meditating.

How Do You Express Yourself Creatively?

I’m most creative when I write/journal and cook.

Last Memorable Book You Read and Why?

The Gifts of Imperfection by Brene Brown. Before I read this book I didn’t realize how much shame impacted my life. It gave me a new perspective and some strategies to living a whole hearted life. I would highly recommend it!

Favorite Movie and Why?

Ooh, this is a tough one! I can’t pick just one but anything starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Bell, or Will Smith. I prefer comedies over any other genres because I like to be able to turn my mind off and just laugh for a couple hours.

“Go to” Quote or Mantra that Grounds You?

I am here now.

Accomplishment Are You Most Proud of?

Training for and completing my first triathlon last summer.

Best Lesson Learned in Life So Far?

Everyone is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind always.

Advice to Younger Self?

Liberate yourself by releasing your need to people please.

What Do You Love Best About Yourself (physical trait or personality characteristic) and Why?

I love that I am resilient. There have been many challenges in my life that could have defined and broken me, instead they taught me to rise up stronger and create a better life for myself.

How Does Your Work Enable You to Connect to and Fulfill Your Life Purpose/Passion?

I know that I was born to uplift people. When I came to find out that there’s an actual job to do that; it was like giving a title to exactly what I’ve done.

Who Is Your Ideal Client and Why?

A woman who has tried to do it by herself for a long time, and has succeeded. But now is ready to make a bigger impact and needs help in doing so.

What Unique Offerings Do You Provide?

I provide Life, Business and Leadership Coaching (one-on-one and group settings) I curate retreats, workshop facilitations and Women Leadership Circles I am the author of “Create Your Best Year One Day at a Time”.

Who Was Your Role Model Growing Up? How Did That Person’s Actions Impact You?

I’ve had a few role models growing up; my mom, God mother and Grandparents. They’ve influenced me by helping me to understand that life is not just black and white, not just up and down; it’s EVERYTHING in-between. My mom has always been very generous. My godmother is a national leader in the Dominican Republic. They’ve instilled in me that if you have a dream to make a difference, then life will make way to help you. My grandparents had tactical business skills; one set had money/ financial power. And my other set of grandparents had other kinds of power through love, concern for strangers, values, generosity and humanity at large. Collectively, their efforts have taught me to be the best version of myself as possible!

Favorite Place to Escape and Refuel?

Through meditation, I found peace in my heart, womb spaces and innerself. However physical spaces are ocean, traveling to homelands and out in nature with the trees.

Bicentennial Man, because it’s about a robot who evolves to have real emotions. I believe everything has spirit, compassion, empathy and love. He developed a deep love and ended his life when the love of his life ended.
