I love to help and guide people to achieve new levels of spirituality and awareness about themselves and the world we live in, while also assisting to bring about healing on all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. I also love to write poetry and fantasy fiction. Art and writing in all forms are my passion, including and especially the healing arts. I enjoy learning and researching new things all the time.

My ideal client is someone who is open to new experiences and ready to change and grow.

Together with my mother I offer dual therapist integrated massage and energy bodywork sessions.

Who Was Your Role Model Growing Up? How Did That Person’s Actions Impact You?

I had many role models including but not limited to my grandmother, my mother, and Wonder Women. They all inspired me because they were strong, intelligent, and compassionate individuals.

My Massage studio, a walk in nature, and/or the beach.

Take a walk, give gratitude, listen to my body.

How Do You Express Yourself Creatively?

Write poetry, write fantasy fiction, draw, paint, do stained glass.

Da Vinci Code, it was very thought provoking.

I have many favorite movies, but Harry Potter tops my favorite list because it is magical.

Being true to myself and who I am and will become: daughter, wife, mother, healing facilitator, spiritual path guide, artist, poet, writer and published author.

Best Lesson Learned in Life So Far?

I am only me. I cannot be anyone else. I have the right to be happy. I am enough. I am only human.

Advice to Younger Self?

Don’t give up. You are stronger than you think. You’ll get there. Believe in yourself.

What Do You Love Best About Yourself (physical trait or personality characteristic) and Why?

I am love. I do not judge. These traits remind me we are all one, on our own journey, and need understanding and support sometimes when we may feel the most unlovable.

My house in Maine or similar settings. I could sit on the dock and listen to the loons and watch the starry skies, walk in the woods. I loved it when the animals would come up on the deck. Peace invaded my soul.

Bodywork; walking, swimming, or some type of exercise; relaxing and reading.

Doing stained glass; developing and presenting classes, needle arts.

My daughter. My 23 years as a nursing professor and how I contributed to Quincy College and the nursing profession.

I live in the present where i can grow and change. I cannot change the past, but I can learn from it. I can aspire to change for the better in the future.

Abundantly Well: The Complementary Integrated Medicine Revolution by Susun Weed. It is a great reference book for anyone who is at a crossroad on how to handle their own health challenge. I like how Susun offers thought provoking questions to help one decide whether or not to seek medical help or if a more holistic approach will be best. I have read many health related books, but what I like best about this one is that it combines both natural and allopathic information in one place.

Favorite Movie and Why?

Stardust. It is a great reminder that sometimes what you are looking for is right in front of you, but you may be too focused on how you think it should look that you miss it.

Accomplishment Are You Most Proud of?

I am most proud of standing up for what I thought was best for my boys and homeschooling them. It was not an easy decision because in the beginning I did not know anyone else who was doing this and I got a lot of negative reactions when I would tell people my plan. We are going into our 7th year and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Best Lesson Learned in Life So Far?

Life is precious and can be taken away at any time. It is important to live life now and not wait for the “some day”.

Advice to Younger Self?

It is ok to show vulnerability.

What Do You Love Best About Yourself (physical trait or personality characteristic) and Why?

That I can love unconditionally & see the best in people. Because of this I have met many wonderful souls that I may have otherwise passed by.
