How Does Your Work Enable You to Connect to and Fulfill Your Life Purpose/Passion?
I make a profound difference in peoples’ lives – typically in just a few sessions. People are typically their own biggest obstacle to what they want in life. I love impacting the world, one person at a time. I help people bring their dreams to earth while they are still here to enjoy them! So unless they believe in reincarnation they can live the life they choose now instead of being trapped in the life that chose them… I’ve studied personal growth for 49 years and believe this should taught in schools. I was also a management consultant and my problem solving is my super power so I often help people come up with creative solutions.
Who Is Your Ideal Client and Why?
My ideal client tends to give more than they get in relationships. I help them honor who they are, speak up in a way that others can hear them.
What Unique Offerings Do You Provide?
I give 1:1 coaching in communication and relationships. I offer a free 30-minute coaching session. I can coach either in person or by phone. I write up our session so that the client and I both have the information we covered which is often helpful later. I have helped clients with a variety of issues including: self-confidence, decision-making, speaking up, quieting the critical voice in their head, re-framing childhood experiences that can trigger feelings of low self-worth, weight loss, etc.
Who Was Your Role Model Growing Up? How Did That Person’s Actions Impact You?
John F. Kennedy. I generalized his quote and made it my own: “Ask not what others can do for you. Ask what you can do for others.” I rejoice in people discovering a life they love – however, I do that after I feel fulfilled first – which is the most important way to be. (Put on your own oxygen mask before you help others.)
Favorite Place to Escape and Refuel?
Dancing – particularly west coast swing.
Top 3 Ways to Treat Yourself to Self-Care?
Animals (particularly dogs), seeing beauty in nature and going for walks.
How Do You Express Yourself Creatively?
I love to create – I enjoy writing and drawing. I’ve also choreographed musicals and written a few songs.
Last Memorable Book You Read and Why?
Love Warrior – She was so vulnerable.
Favorite Movie and Why?
Speed – pure adrenalin rush + hot star.

Be here now. (We have a tendency to think about a lot and forget where we are.)
Accomplishment Are You Most Proud of?
My writing. My first book “Life’s Magic Carousel: How to Grab the Brass Ring Before the Music Stops.” It describes how to have a great life in an entertaining manner. It will be published this summer and I am excited people will be able to easily make changes in their lives. I’ve also written 13 articles for GoodMenProject (what it means to be a good man today). Last year I published a story “My Fearless Five-Year-Old Self” in a collection of 42 stories for women by women in a book called “If Only I Knew Then What I Know Now.” Two other short stories will be published this year: “My Suddenly Grateful Self” and “Ferret Shenanigans or Simply Odd?”
Best Lesson Learned in Life So Far?
You are perfect and brilliant just as you are – love, accept and trust yourself! No apologies. No wishing for a different body, mind, circumstances, etc. Take what you have and run with it!
Advice to Younger Self?
Worry less about what others’ opinions of you and what they think you should do. Just appreciate your strengths.
What Do You Love Best About Yourself (physical trait or personality characteristic) and Why?
I am quirky, quick-witted and love to entertain! I used to try to fit in. But then I realized that the best thing about me is that I am unique.
